This is a side you will be using over and over…

This Rice Pilaf is the best you will ever make! This is the side I love to pair with when I’m making salmon, but I don’t just make it with salmon. I love to pair this rice with just about anything that requires a yummy side. It’s perfection with anything you have made on the BBQ! The white pepper gives it a little kick, if your worried about it being too spicy you can just cut the white pepper in half..Doesn’t change the flavor at all!! Next time your looking for a meal that will really impress your guest or family, make this with our BBQ Salmon.. Oh man sooo good!!! XOXO

  • 1 teaspoon ground white pepper If too spicy cut to 1/2 teaspoon
  • 1 1/4 cups long-grain white rice
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth

  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until the onion is soft but not brown. Stir in the rice until it is well-coasted. Add the broth and bring to a boil.
  • Cover, decrease the heat, and simmer until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed, 15 to 20 minutes
  • Can be made MEATLESS: Use vegetable broth or mushroom broth in place of the chicken broth
