BLT Salad with Cheese and Almonds

If you love a BLT sandwich, you need to give this recipe a try! The crunchy bacon and crisp lettuce go perfectly with the light lemon dressing. Add the fresh tomatoes, and you won’t believe how delicious.

Whenever I take this salad to a shower or party, everyone asks for the recipe! It is simple, but amazing. I take all the ingredients in resealable plastic bags or containers so that I can put the salad together quickly just before serving.

Do NOT make the salad ahead of time. It will turn soggy, and no one wants a soggy salad! It has to be eaten immediately. But luckily it is really easy to through together.

If you want to switch things up, try making this salad with our buttermilk dressing instead! It won’t be as light, but it will be extra creamy and delicious!

And if you are looking for a meatless salad, this one can still work for you! Take out the bacon, and it is still delicious. The crunch of the croutons makes it so you just may not miss the bacon!

Speaking of croutons, try making our homemade version if you are feeling fancy! But for a quick and easy salad, simply add a bag of packaged ones. It will be delicious either way.

Whether you are looking for a side salad to bring to a party, or are wanting to make a salad for dinner, this BLT salad is for you! Switch up whatever you would like, and you won’t be disappointed. Enjoy!
